The band is made of the world-famous "Marema" leather, produced by Conceria Puccini Attilo. This is full-grain cowhide, 100% pure vegetable-tanned leather. Maremma has a smooth semi-gloss surface. It will patina over time, aging gracefully throughout its life. 

The band has smooth and impeccably hand-burnished edges and is hand sewn with high-quality off-white waxed thread. The strap is incredibly comfortable and soft on the wrist. It is a perfect pairing to vintage timepieces. Treat yourself to a bit of wrist luxury! 

This watch strap is tapered. It starts out wider at the lugs and narrows toward the direction of the tail and the buckle. This is how we get a delicate curve to emphasize its elegance.

The band is coated with a wax compound to protect it from dirt and moisture and add a unique shine to the leather. However, it doesn't make the band waterproof. Wax coating can protect the leather from water drops or sweat, but it is highly recommended not to swim while wearing a watch band. The leather has 1st grade, so it naturally has good quality and with proper use, it can last for a lifetime.
