Each strap is carefully handcrafted of two layers of fine Italian vegetable-tanned leather.
It is firm, pliable, and durable at the same time. The top layer is made of aniline dyed full-grain leather that retains all the natural structure and looks.
The lining is made of undied full-grain cowhide Italian veg tan leather treated with oil and wax compound for additional protection.
This type of leather is well known for its durability and with proper use, the strap can last a lifetime. The edges of the strap are hand-burnished. Burnishing is a technique of making rough leather edges smooth and sealed using wax compounds and wood slicker. As a result - the edges are smooth and shiny.
